Don Gallery is delighted to share that LIU Ren and ZHANG Ruyi's participation in “Architecture's Inscriptions” at Tank Shanghai. The exhibition brings together works by 14 Chinese architects and 8 contemporary artists, exploring the dialogue between architecture, art, and spatial experience.
 
The exhibition Architecture’s Inscriptions explores what might be called a contemporary synthetic poetics. This not only organizes and propels the imbricated machinery of the different Chinese arts of inscription but also enables it to set into its structured field the discipline of architecture. What results from the exhibition is the experience of an expanded field of the arts of inscription and an encounter with inscriptive art practices across time.
