Paris Internationale 2025: Paris

Don Gallery is pleased to announce its third participation in Paris Internationale, taking place from October 21–25, 2025, where it will present a duo project by artists ZHANG Ruyi and ZHANG Yunyao at Booth 0.19. ZHANG Ruyi’s practice unfolds through observations of hidden spaces and the movement of water within everyday life. By continuously exploring the material properties and temporality of her chosen media, she reveals the subtle interrelations between individual perception and the surrounding environment. ZHANG Yunyao, in turn, extends his long-term painting practice on felt, presenting a new series of “portraits” inspired by Rick Owens’ mannequin figures, whose futuristic and sculptural forms evoke a cold sensuality. Rendered in restrained greyscale tones and tactile surfaces, these works offer a renewed reflection on the body, desire, and the aesthetics of artificiality. Both artists also participated this year in the SITE SANTA FE International in New Mexico, U.S.
